Taff-Ely Turtles Trip To Germany May 2003

Thursday; Left Pontypridd 7:30a.m.
After a pleasant journey by mini-bus to Heathrow and subsequent flight to Stuttgart (in-flight meal provided) on arrival we were met by our hosts who provided the transfer to our accommodation.Arrived Nuertingen 5 p.m.
We checked into the Hotel pflume and after a quick rest we all met in the hotel restaurant at 6:30 p.m. for a small evening meal which ran to 4 courses. At 7:30 p.m. our hosts arrived back at the hotel to take us for an evening swim at the main indoor pool in Nurtingen. We presented the local swimming club with a Welsh flag and some books on disabled swimming techniques. After returning to the hotel we took a late evening stroll into the centre of the town where we sampled some of the local refreshments.
